BNSF 1864 is assigned to the locals that work out of Aurora.
A pair of older EMDs are in charge of today's BNCP Transfer through Union Jct. The train is taking the cutoff from the Midway Sub due to congestion on the St. Paul Sub.

BNSF's JY Local crosses the 3,860' long, 162' high bridge over the Sheyenne River with five SD40-2s and 124 cars. Not the kind of local I am used to... but one of my favorite photos of the trip.
